About the Role
CBI Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide OT interventions, including ADL/IADL strategies, equipment recommendations, and home modifications. You will utilize a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to care and services, supporting a restorative approach to health, and utilizing digital platforms for care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide OT interventions, including ADL/IADL strategies, equipment recommendations, and home modifications.
- Use a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to care and services.
- Support a restorative approach to health, offering interventions, health coaching, and self-management support.
- Utilize digital platforms for care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention.
Requirements
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Ability to travel within the community.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
- Embrace person- and family-centered care with passion and empathy.
- Exercise good judgment and critical thinking in client care decisions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Thrive in both team settings and working independently.
- Value the role of a therapist in enabling clients to remain at home when it aligns with their personal goals.
