About the Role
As our Community Manager, you will own the network and energy of our Community, building a central part of our brand by keeping customers connected to their families and support systems.
Responsibilities
- Launch and own the customer newsletter and other community-building touchpoints.
- Own the organic social media presence, participating in and mobilizing Facebook and Reddit communities.
- Own organic Facebook and Instagram presences, focusing on engagement, shares, and network growth.
- Develop strategies for engaging customers not native to platforms like TikTok or Snapchat.
- Own referral programs end-to-end, making it easy and rewarding for customers to recommend the service.
- Develop and execute strategies for community growth.
- Write compelling content that resonates with the target audience.
- Create organic content that is visually appealing without designer assistance.
- Set goals, monitor analytics, and optimize strategies based on performance.
Requirements
- 3–5 years in community, social, or content marketing with proven ownership of a channel or program.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish a significant amount of work independently.
- Proven experience and strong opinions on community growth strategies.
- Strong writing skills, capable of crafting emotional messages for a specific demographic.
- Understanding of how content spreads within older adult or caregiver communities.
- Hands-on design sense for creating visually appealing organic content.
- Analytical skills with experience in setting goals and tracking metrics.
- Experience marketing to older adults, caregivers, or their families is a plus.
