About the Role
As Chief of Staff to the co-founder and CEO, you will have a front-row seat to the company's growth and operations. This role involves managing critical meetings, owning cross-functional projects, and ensuring the CEO's operational efficiency. The position offers significant access to high-level discussions and decision-making, with an expected commitment of approximately 18 months, serving as a launchpad for future senior roles.
Responsibilities
- Run the operating cadence, including board preparation, executive staff meetings, planning, and KPI reviews, to ensure clear decisions and priorities.
- Drive CEO communications, partnering on all CEO-facing activities, including internal all-hands, company emails, employee recognition, and external interview/talk preparation.
- Undertake special projects and provide strategic support, taking ownership of critical cross-functional initiatives that lack clear ownership or require focused results.
- Design and manage the support engine around the CEO, ensuring smooth operations and proactively addressing any blockers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of strategic business experience, preferably in a high-growth tech startup, finance, or consulting.
- Demonstrated high-agency and low-ego, with a proactive approach to identifying and completing necessary tasks.
- Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through to ensure no detail is missed.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, capable of writing in the CEO's voice and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in environments with high uncertainty, capable of achieving results without a predefined playbook or close supervision.
- AI fluency and enthusiasm, with active use of AI for work leverage and excitement about its future.
- Willingness to commit approximately 18 months to the role.
- Experience in a demanding, fast-moving environment such as a high-growth startup, consulting, finance, or operating roles.
