About the Role
The Director of Table Games is responsible for the leadership, management, performance, and operation of the Table Games program, including setting up the program, logistics, and team members. This position will lead operational strategies and implement policies and procedures for all Table Games operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage, develop, plan, and implement procedures for the efficient operation of Table Games.
- Develop and manage internal controls for the Table Games department.
- Manage annual Operating and Capital budgets for Table Games Operations.
- Develop and train staff, conduct interviews, hire, and perform performance evaluations of direct reports.
- Implement policies and programs to achieve property and company financial and operational goals.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure the safety of patrons and team members.
- Take ownership of the department’s P&L and identify opportunities to minimize expenses.
- Stay updated on gaming regulations and inform senior team members of any concerns.
- Collaborate with Casino Marketing to offer appropriate comps, amenities, and wagering limits.
- Gather and act on guest feedback to improve services.
- Manage the responsibilities of Table Games team members.
- Respond effectively to guest inquiries.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.

- Maintain a working knowledge of the marketplace and assist in building best practices.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to applicable statutes, rules, and regulations.
- Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in the casino industry in a class III Gaming operations as a department head or manager.
- Five (5) years of experience managing processes, department-level managers, and functions.
- Outstanding communications and presentation skills.
- Experience in a high tax environment is helpful.
- Advanced knowledge of field concepts, principles, practices, and procedures.
- Significant experience creating, tracking, and controlling financial metrics.
- Strong supervisory and communication skills.
- Working ability with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under short time constraints, and within established deadlines.
- Strong analytical and listening skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
- Ability to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.
