About the Role

This position serves as a key contact for marketing activities within the DADM group, supporting the Advertising, Marketing and Digital Media (AMDM) team, providing cross-selling support to the Emerging Technology (ETECH) and Privacy Governance and Tech Transactions (PGTT) teams, and assisting with other group duties. The role demands high creativity, attention to detail, strong legal writing and proofreading skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced client-focused environment. It requires proactive, individualized client service and strategic idea implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the AMDM team’s marketing efforts as outlined in their strategic plan, including participating in relevant monthly team meetings and working with Team Leaders to identify and pursue client opportunities and reputation building activities.
  • Support cross-selling efforts for the ETECH and PGTT teams, including Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the legal market and the DADM group capabilities nationwide to maximize marketing initiative effectiveness.
  • Stay abreast of relevant client news and business/industry trends to suggest opportunities for client expansion or market penetration, including contributing to a weekly team newsletter, events, and other engagements.
  • Manage relevant RFP/proposal responses and pitch meeting preparations, including creating customized materials and sharing best practices.
  • Plan and execute group client events such as webinars, conferences, speaking engagements, sponsorships, and other events.
  • Work closely with the Public Relations team to identify and leverage media opportunities, maintain web content, publish client alerts, and support Firm blogs.
  • Assist with Chambers, Legal 500, and other submissions to rankings and directories.
  • Manage the production of marketing collateral, brochures, practice profiles, meeting placemats, announcements, and invitations.
  • Maintain the Experience Database for significant matters.
  • Support the integration of lateral attorneys.
  • Assist the DADM Group Chair and Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager with group-wide practice development projects.
  • Liaise regularly with the BD & Marketing Department, AMDM, ETECH, PGTT, other practice teams, and attorneys and leaders of the DADM practice group.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in professional services marketing.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to speak effectively and respond to inquiries from all levels of staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Interpersonal communication skills to maintain effective relationships with partners, attorneys, clients, and staff.
  • Demonstrated success in strengthening corporate reputations and client relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage major projects and coordinate department resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Aptitude to learn new software applications.
