About the Role
PACE Supply is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Warehouse Worker for its San Francisco, CA branch. This role is key to daily operations, involving receiving, storing, and distributing products, picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory. It offers a pathway for growth within the company.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and prioritize incoming orders based on work tags or supervisor instructions.
- Locate and retrieve items from inventory using manual methods or forklifts, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Safely perform physical tasks such as lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling to move and manage materials.
- Pull and stage materials as needed to maintain consistent stock levels at production workstations.
- Unload incoming shipments by hand or with a forklift, following all safety procedures and handling protocols.
- Inspect incoming products against accompanying paperwork to verify accuracy; identify and report any missing, damaged, or incorrect items.
- Monitor, record, and manage inventory levels to ensure availability and accuracy across the warehouse.
- Process and verify multiple incoming shipments, ensuring order accuracy and promptly resolving any discrepancies.
Requirements
- Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal, written, and reading proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction in all interactions.
- Collaborative approach, building positive relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners (e.g., manufacturers).
- Basic proficiency in math, including counting and performing computations with up to four-digit numbers.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency, including keyboarding and data entry.
- Ability to analyze situations, consider relevant factors, and recommend effective solutions.
- Commitment to following workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures.
- Successful candidates must complete a background check, physical examination, and drug test.
