About the Role
The Bellman/Driver is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage handling, escorting guests, and providing safe and timely transportation services. This role ensures guests receive a warm welcome and a smooth arrival and departure experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist guests with luggage to and from rooms.
- Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities and services.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and transportation options.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
- Safely transport guests to and from designated locations.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage.
- Report on any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for 3 years with a clean driving record.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs or more).
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy luggage
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
