About the Role

Applications International Corporation is seeking a Software Developer to write code, assist in requirements definition and design plans, contribute to system design, investigate new technologies, and construct clean, efficient code to meet client requirements and adhere to team standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using languages like SQL, C#, and VB.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to meet business and technical requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure system reliability.
• Deploy software updates to QA and production environments as needed.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security standards are met in all applications.
• Continuously improve code quality, system efficiency, and team processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering and/or 2+ years of related technical field with relevant experience
• Experience in software development projects; demonstrated ownership of projects.
• .NET/C# , C## programming experience
• Proficiency and experience working with SQL, C#, VB, or similar languages.
• Experience with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting software issues.
• Experience and familiarity with QA testing and deployment processes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.
• Ability to complete bug fixes and enhancements.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently work as a member of the Development team.
• General understanding and working knowledge of relevant applications and software development.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Completion, in a timely and accurate manner, of specifically assigned duties.
• Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately.
• Willingness to co-operate and maintain effective professional relationships with others.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated effectiveness communicating to prospects, customers and staff members.
• Ability to attain goals and performance expectations set by Management.
