About the Role
Machine Operator I is responsible for the set up and operation of a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, securing and maintaining necessary materials and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Completes work area set up.
- Operates and feeds the machine safely and efficiently.
- Stacks completed products according to procedures.
- Covers, labels, and bands components/finished product as required.
- Ensures a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Ensures equipment is safe to operate.
- Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
- Maintains production records.
- Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
- Performs duties consistent with safety and quality procedures.
- Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling is required.
- Working knowledge of basic math.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- High school diploma/GED is preferred but not required.
