About the Role

Machine Operator I is responsible for the set up and operation of a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, securing and maintaining necessary materials and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area set up.
• Operates and feeds the machine safely and efficiently.
• Stacks completed products according to procedures.
• Covers, labels, and bands components/finished product as required.
• Ensures a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Ensures equipment is safe to operate.
• Completes pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records.
• Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
• Performs duties consistent with safety and quality procedures.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing and/or assembling is required.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
