About the Role
New Castle Building Products (NCBP) is seeking a full-time Warehouse/Forklift Operator for its East Berlin, CT location. The ideal candidate can thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment and has experience with order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks of building materials, including checking in material.
- Fulfill customer orders from stock based on work orders.
- Load building materials onto pallets and shelves for delivery or warehouse receipt.
- Assist in counting physical inventory.
- Operate a forklift safely with proper equipment.
- Organize the warehouse for orderliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to function in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Frequent lifting and moving of material up to 70 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, and crouching.
