About the Role

As an Actuarial Consultant, you will lead commercial pricing initiatives and collaborate with business partners to deliver unique solutions that ensure the profitability of our national commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Develop rate change projects and advanced analytical models aligned with corporate strategies.
• Utilize advanced modeling software and programming languages to contribute to strategic objectives.
• Analyze business partner needs to identify innovative solutions for complex challenges.
• Articulate actuarial concepts clearly to key stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor team members to facilitate professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Lead and execute medium to large-sized projects by defining project plans and promoting team involvement.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the property and casualty actuarial field.
• Advanced knowledge of modeling software and programming languages (SQL, SAS, R, and/or Python).
• Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products, emerging trends, and actuarial best practices.
• Proficiency in English.
• Background check required as a condition of employment.
