About the Role

We are looking for a driven individual to join our team as a Diagnostic Specialist. This role involves communicating and selling the benefits of our APTIMA product line, ThinPrep Pap Test, and adjunctive testing to clinicians within an assigned territory. You will develop and execute sales strategies, manage customer relationships, and contribute to marketing initiatives to achieve sales goals and empower people to live healthier lives.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate and sell the benefits of the APTIMA product line, the ThinPrep Pap Test and adjunctive testing, to clinicians in an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy within your assigned territory to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Insulate accounts against competition and regain lost customer accounts
  • Accurately forecast and maintain an individual territory in accordance with a 90-day quota
  • Maintain ongoing business planning with customers, including business reviews with customer financial departments
  • Maintain consistent and structured communication to District Sales Manager
  • Partner with the marketing department to support the development and execution of marketing programs and sales materials
  • Attend local and national professional trade shows and events to promote products
  • Update and sync all relevant customer account information into Hologic’s Data Management System daily

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience delivering commercial success against assigned targets
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with new and existing customers
  • Proficiency in solution selling and influencing/negotiating
  • Understanding and articulation of complex scientific literature
  • Ability to use complex clinical data as a key factor in the sales process
  • Valid driving license
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Serviceable vehicle available for work use
