About the Role
Creative Directors at SixSpeed are responsible for transforming business challenges into original, impactful ideas. They lead creative teams, ensuring alignment and high-quality output, while managing projects from concept to completion and fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision for integrated campaigns and ideas for outdoor, retail, and CPG brands.
- Develop creative strategies for marketing, advertising, and branding campaigns.
- Direct and shape strategically sound and conceptually bold work.
- Foster and maintain senior-level client relationships as a strategic partner.
- Communicate client goals and objectives to the creative team.
- Inspire and motivate teams to create their best work.
- Implement and evolve the SixSpeed creative process.
- Provide clear, timely, and helpful feedback to improve creative output and processes.
- Ensure creative work stays within budget and schedule.
- Partner with Account group to provide guidance and insights.
- Stay up-to-date on branding, marketing, advertising trends, and technological advances.
- Assign, oversee, and monitor copywriter, design, and other creative jobs.
- Coordinate brainstorming sessions to generate ideas.
- Assist in establishing schedules and planning jobs and resources.
- Assist in hiring and managing freelance and full-time creative staff.
- Assess, review, and curate creative work for client presentation.
- Present creative work to clients and obtain approval.
- Directly manage and mentor team members, encouraging growth and development.
- Advocate for SixSpeed through thought leadership and industry relationships.
Requirements
- 7-15 years of experience in the advertising or marketing industry.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Cursory knowledge of programs like After Effects.
- Experienced in large-scale campaign work and video production for global brands.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with account teams, creative teams, and key clients.
- Accountable ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Strong task management skills.
- Ability and willingness to try new ideas, experiment with new tools, and stay on top of trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
