About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity within DoorDash's high-growth New Verticals business, specifically focusing on the Grocery segment. You will be responsible for modeling future business scenarios, collaborating on project execution from conception to completion, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support financial decisions and ensure data-driven, efficient choices. The position provides significant influence on growth and profitability, along with high visibility to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Help shape and support nascent businesses
Analyze operational/financial data, uncover trends and assess current/future business risks and opportunities
Own models and analyses to balance growth vs. profitability
Work with cross-functional partners to develop new processes

Requirements

2-3 years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector
Ability to influence cross functional partners at all levels
Experience managing budgets for various teams
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Able to build robust financial models used by F&S teams throughout the company
Basic SQL proficiency (or strong willingness to learn)
