About the Role
The Data Integration Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end onboarding and normalization of external data into the platform's standardized schema. This role acts as a liaison between clients, data vendors, product, and R&D, transforming diverse data feeds into a consistent format for market surveillance and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Onboard client trade data, specifying format, transmission method, and mapping source fields to the standardized schema.
- Integrate market data feeds, scoping requirements, aligning with vendors, mapping fields, and identifying schema gaps.
- Handle other data feeds such as news, corporate events, and client reference data, working with product and R&D on specifications and mapping.
- Drive integrations end-to-end with R&D and clients, from initial samples through validated ingestion and UAT.
- Maintain mapping documentation, monitor feed health and data quality, and report anomalies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial/Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years in a data integration, data analyst, support, technical onboarding, or business/operations analyst role.
- High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to data mapping and validation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in structured data, schemas, field-level mapping, and tabular formats (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge technical and business conversations.
- Strong service orientation and ownership to drive integrations from specification to delivery.
- Exposure to data integration, ETL, or adapter development workflows.
- Scripting or query experience (e.g., Python, SQL) for data inspection and transformation.
- Experience with financial/market data or trading systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Level 1 vs Level 2 market data and order/execution lifecycle concepts is a plus.
