About the Role
This role focuses on driving revenue goals through proactive sales efforts, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional guest service within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through various sales channels.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and maintain files.
- Participate in daily business review, pre-convention, training, and other catering sales meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality customer service.
- Attend community/social events and industry meetings.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers.
- Adhere to hotel rules and regulations for safe and effective operations.
- Professionally represent the hotel at industry and community functions.
- Participate as a team player with all departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
- Lead the HAFH Experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of hospitality sales experience required.
- Local market knowledge preferred.
- Must be aware of the importance of safety and security.
- Endeavor to be conscious of safety and security at all times.
- Friendly and courteous to guests and fellow team members at all times.
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals.
- Experience at a similar size and quality hotel.
- Proactive sales approach.

- Knowledge of various cultural social events including weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and fraternal organization meetings.

- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of DELPHI.
