About the Role
As a key member of Lightspeed’s dynamic in-house marketing and content team, you’ll be the voice of Lightspeed for our North American audience, crafting and editing copy that elevates our brand. Your work will have a direct impact on positioning Lightspeed as the leading commerce platform for merchants.
Responsibilities
- Creating high-quality content across multiple channels, including landing pages, event marketing assets, customer stories, video scripts, blogs and more
- Delivering highly polished, creative and impactful copy that supports the go-to-market strategy and launch of new products and product updates
- Assisting the North American marketing team in the planning and development of content
- Executing the Lightspeed content strategy and vision across all channels
- Executing content projects, working closely with various team members including Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Customer Marketing, Events, as well as our Growth, Content and Design teams
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of our key products, customers and business types
- Acting as a brand voice ambassador and sharing best practices with employees across the company
- Staying up to date on brand and communications news and trends and sharing insights with the team
- Periodically reporting on the performance of your content marketing efforts
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS or B2B marketing environment
- Proven ability to juggle multiple content projects simultaneously while meeting tight timelines
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- Excellent communicator with experience engaging with businesses
- Proven record of delivering content across different channels and formats
- Strong understanding of SEO and AI search best practices
- Ability to write and produce content for B2B prospects and customers
