About the Role
Quantcast is seeking an SDR Team Lead to join its Sales Development organization. This player-coach role involves carrying personal pipeline targets while leading, coaching, and developing SDRs for both Field and Corporate sales motions. The ideal candidate will set standards, develop talent, and ensure effective execution of playbooks for different market segments, while also modeling expected performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day leader for Field and Corporate SDRs, providing tailored coaching specific to each segment's playbooks, deal complexity, and buyer profiles.
- Review calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, and account plans to identify patterns, reinforcing successes and correcting deficiencies.
- Conduct structured 1:1s and team huddles to foster accountability and momentum.
- Partner with Sales Development and Enablement leadership to onboard new SDRs and accelerate their ramp-up.
- Develop individualized coaching plans based on performance data and qualitative observations, including clear milestones and feedback loops.
- Model expected behaviors and standards for the team.
- Carry a personal book of accounts (Field/strategic/enterprise and/or Corporate/mid-market) and achieve individual pipeline and SQO targets.
- Engage senior and executive-level contacts through multi-channel outbound prospecting.
- Represent Quantcast at industry trade shows, regional events, executive dinners, and sponsored conferences for Field accounts.
- Execute high-velocity, persona-driven sequences for Corporate accounts to qualify ICP fit and convert pipeline.
- Act as an extension of the sales team, participating in account planning and contributing market intelligence.
- Track funnel metrics across both segments, identifying and addressing gaps proactively.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce for forecasting and territory planning.
- Communicate performance insights to relevant stakeholders, translating frontline intelligence into sharper targeting and messaging.
- Partner with Marketing on event strategy and campaign feedback.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to refine playbooks and share learnings.
- Stay current on adtech trends, competitor positioning, and programmatic landscape shifts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales development or business development with success prospecting into both strategic/enterprise and mid-market accounts.
- 1+ year in a formal or informal leadership capacity (team lead, senior SDR, pod lead, or similar) with evidence of coaching others.
- Familiarity with both high-velocity corporate outbound and longer-cycle field/enterprise prospecting motions.
- Proven track record of exceeding individual pipeline and SQO targets.
- Experience engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders through outbound prospecting.
- Comfortable and confident in field settings (trade shows, executive events, client meetings, networking).
- Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into coaching actions.
- Collaborative operator with a track record of partnering effectively with Account Executives, Marketing, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for various audiences.
- Proficient with Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools (Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar).
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory for Field events, meetings, and prospecting activities (estimated 20-30% travel).
