About the Role

As our CLM Administrator, you will own the daily configuration, governance, and user enablement of our enterprise digital Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform, ensuring cross-functional system compliance across Business Units, Legal, Finance, and IT.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the corporate CLM system, managing daily platform health, low-code configurations, user access, and security controls.
  • Map, design, and optimize complex conditional approval routing loops, fallback playbook terms, and automated clause threshold variations.
  • Collaborate with IT and platform teams to deliver system enhancements and integrate the CLM seamlessly with enterprise ERP platforms.
  • Support end-to-end CLM operations from intake to execution, including authoring, approval tracking, amendment handling, and obligation management.
  • Oversee commercial tickets within the CLM and assist in negotiating NDAs, MSAs, and various vendor agreements as required.
  • Maintain data quality standards for contract tagging and indexing; review executed agreements to ensure accurate metadata, repository governance, and audit readiness.
  • Drive the integration of AI capabilities (e.g., document intelligence, metadata extraction, clause classification, risk detection, and automated redlining) to streamline authoring and negotiation.
  • Monitor system metrics and operational performance to drive process efficiencies, scalability, and successful post-implementation reviews.
  • Partner closely with internal Business Units, Legal, Finance, Procurement, and IT to align CLM capabilities with operational needs.
  • Draft user guides, troubleshoot application errors, and host ongoing training programs to drive software adoption for non-technical internal users.
  • Commit to self-development, ongoing learning, and professional development.
  • Drive continuous learning and mentor intermediate/junior staff in data science and digital project delivery methodologies, developing the next generation of tech-forward leaders.
  • Contribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Operations, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a closely related field, or possess an equivalent professional diploma.
  • Bring 4 years of dedicated professional experience working with CLM/CRM systems, contract database administration, or legal support and operations.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and implementing complex conditional routing logic, digital signature flows, and matrixed approval workflows.
  • A professional with 4+ years of working with CLM and CRM systems, contract management, legal support and operations, or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating standard commercial contracts.
  • Experience administering and configuring CLM with transferable expertise from enterprise CLM platforms such as LinkSquares, Ironclad, Conga, Agiloft, or Icertis.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex workflows, simplify legal/financial processes, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across Legal, Finance, IT and Technical teams.
  • Experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating agreements related to the consulting sector is an asset.
  • Drafting standardised rules, playbooks, and libraries for AI-assisted CLM platforms.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe and MS Word.
  • Working knowledge of Egnite is an asset.
