About the Role
Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Engineer for Water Wastewater in Global Facilities Engineering to help build advanced water and wastewater systems for their facilities. This role is crucial for developing and implementing engineering concepts for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects, ensuring alignment with Micron’s global standards and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in developing engineering and design concepts for U.S. Greenfield FAB projects.
- Coordinate project planning, execution, and completion.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop water and wastewater system designs for U.S. Design and Construction Projects.
- Establish and maintain engineering and construction practices focusing on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Review and provide feedback on Micron Global Design and Construction Standards and Specifications.
- Support project cost and schedule estimates.
- Support the development and maintenance of Micron Global system standards, specifications, and best-known methods.
- Analyze system designs for performance improvements, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance, and cost savings.
- Contribute to Global Sustainability Programs.
- Integrate AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Environment Engineering.
- 7-10 years of technical expertise and experience in Facilities and Semiconductor Mechanical, Process, Chemical, Gases, Water, and Wastewater Systems.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15-25% of the time, up to 30% during critical project phases.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent organizational skills and service attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated.
- 5+ years experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing and Facilities systems.
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
