Maintain cleanliness and safety for assigned facilities.
Collect and dispose of all types of waste, including regular, recyclable, and medical waste, and operate compactor equipment.
Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, stripping, spray buffing, waxing, vacuuming, deodorizing, and shampooing carpets.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and cafeteria areas, including fixtures and furniture, and replenish supplies.
Clean and dust walls, windows, ceilings, lighting fixtures, pipes, waste containers, and other surfaces.
Provide cafeteria and meeting services, including setup, cleanup, coffee equipment maintenance, general cleanliness, and supply management.
Perform relief responsibilities, including security functions.
Remove snow and debris from walkways and apply salt as needed.
Assist in packing freezers with dry ice during freezer malfunctions.
Attend required safety and training meetings.
Perform other maintenance duties as required.
Run errands as required.
Perform any related duties as assigned.

One year of experience in office or industrial maintenance.
Any combination of education, training, and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate is $20.00p/hr.
For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
