Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and safety for assigned facilities.
- Collect and dispose of all types of waste, including regular, recyclable, and medical waste, and operate compactor equipment.
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, stripping, spray buffing, waxing, vacuuming, deodorizing, and shampooing carpets.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and cafeteria areas, including fixtures and furniture, and replenish supplies.
- Clean and dust walls, windows, ceilings, lighting fixtures, pipes, waste containers, and other surfaces.
- Provide cafeteria and meeting services, including setup, cleanup, coffee equipment maintenance, general cleanliness, and supply management.
- Perform relief responsibilities, including security functions.
- Remove snow and debris from walkways and apply salt as needed.
- Assist in packing freezers with dry ice during freezer malfunctions.
- Attend required safety and training meetings.
- Perform other maintenance duties as required.
- Run errands as required.
- Perform any related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One year of experience in office or industrial maintenance.
- Any combination of education, training, and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

Salary/Compensations
- For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate is $20.00p/hr.
- For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
