About the Role
The HdL Companies is seeking a software developer to write, modify, and debug code for proprietary software programs. This role involves testing and documenting software, designing user interfaces, and enhancing existing reporting tools. The developer will construct database queries and apply intermediate design, coding, debugging, and testing skills to deliver working program modules.
Responsibilities
- Write/modify code and debug software for HdL proprietary software programs based on working knowledge of program architecture and experience gained from the design and development process.
- Use source debuggers and visual development environments.
- Test and document software for client applications; deploy and maintain software solutions.
- Design and develop software user interfaces.
- Enhance and improve existing reporting tools, features, and customized reports for internal or client use.
- Construct database queries on PostgreSQL.
- Applies intermediate design, coding, debugging, and testing skills to deliver a working set of program modules.
- Understand networks and network protocols.
- Develops code using .Net C#, Visual Basic, RDBMS/SQL, MVC, AngularJS., Vuw, Qlik
- Knowledge of GIS, APIs and working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server.
