About the Role
This fast-paced, service-oriented, and team-focused role involves providing high-quality car washes in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional demeanor, demonstrate attention to detail, and possess a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Maintain carwash
- Visually inspect vehicles to ensure any damage or issues are documented
- Determine any special wash needs (e.g., Hand Wash, Vacuum Only, No Wash)
- Communicate any damage, warning lights, or other issues
- Secure any loose or potential damage risk items
- Drive vehicle through automatic car wash
- Gently hand wash and/or brush vehicle exteriors as needed
- Clean and shine tires
- Thoroughly scrub and remove brake dust and debris from wheels
- Vacuum interior seats, floors, rear, and trunk carpets
- Clean and maintain vehicle interiors, including dashboards, consoles, and floormats
- Thoroughly dry the outside of vehicle
- Clean insteps, panels, door trims, and hinges
- Clean windows including windshield inside and out, ensuring no streaks
- Assist other car washes in wash bays to expedite cleaning and delivery to guests
- Keep car wash area neat, clean, and organized
- Maintain supplies properly stocked and organized
- Practice safe driving and parking skills
- Meet grooming standards and wear proper uniform attire
- Report all incidents immediately to supervisor
- Adhere to corporate policies and procedures
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Assist with valet tasks as needed, following guidelines
- Greet and assist guests
- Safely park vehicles in the requested area
- Quickly locate, retrieve, stage, and store vehicles when requested
- Assist with clearing the front drive
- Assist with loaner desk tasks as needed, following guidelines
- Open and close loaner agreements
- Stage loaners for guests
- Perform test drives
- Pick up and deliver guest cars
- Inform management of any damage
- Deliver vehicles to guests and provide a proper farewell
- Assist with greeting and directing guests as needed
- Touch up vehicles as needed upon delivery
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
- Work with a sense of urgency
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a drug test
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Provide a 3-year driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job
