About the Role
The Services Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Services Division for their assigned location, leading and developing Services Superintendents, and nurturing client relationships. The role requires directing and maintaining acceptable production levels while professionally representing Camp and working independently.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop Service Team members, including performance and development goals.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high level of client satisfaction.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve location performance to align with organizational goals.
- Research, create, and recommend scopes of work, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Coordinate and direct awarded work, including subcontractor buyout and management, material procurement, invoice review, and client approval.
- Ensure effective time-management for self and team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction practices and problem-solving solutions.
- Assist with the development of local bid sheets to improve bid quality and quantity.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective subcontractors.
- Ensure Accounts Receivable is maintained at an acceptable level.
- Manage or assist with other projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience bidding, selling, and producing work in the construction industry.
- Excellent organization and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- General knowledge of maintenance repair and service, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and general maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- 5+ years of experience in construction services.
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams.
- Must have completed OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses, or complete OSHA 10 within the first 10 working days and OSHA 30 within the first 40 working days of employment.
