About the Role
Q2 is seeking an experienced Commercial Digital Banking Product Manager to lead the strategy, commercialization, and lifecycle management of our commercial payments related solutions. This leader will own the roadmap, business cases, pricing strategy, and financial performance for products supporting commercial money movement, payment workflows, and digital banking experiences. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in commercial banking and payments with proven software product management experience. They will partner closely with Engineering, Delivery, Product Owners, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to deliver market-leading solutions that solve real customer problems while driving growth and business outcomes. This role serves as the voice of the customer and market, balancing customer needs, competitive dynamics, financial performance, and technical feasibility to successfully bring products from concept through launch and ongoing optimization.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and lifecycle for Commercial Digital Banking Payments related solutions.
- Define and execute product strategies aligned with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Develop business cases, pricing, packaging, financial forecasts, and investment recommendations for new products and enhancements.
- Partner with Engineering and Product Owners to prioritize initiatives and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Monitor product performance, adoption, financial results, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to successfully deliver product initiatives.
- Represent the product with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert on commercial payments and digital banking.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and business value to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software product management experience, including ownership of enterprise or SaaS products.
- 5+ years of experience in financial services, with significant experience in commercial banking or payments.
- Demonstrated experience successfully launching software products from concept through commercialization.
- Experience developing product strategy, business cases, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Experience managing product financials, forecasting, budgeting, and measuring product performance.
- Strong understanding of Agile product development and software delivery practices.
- Experience conducting customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Fluent written and oral communication in English.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
