About the Role

The Global Lead, CRRD Data & Analytics will lead the execution of CRRD’s data roadmap, integrating fundraising, spending, and programmatic delivery data. This role involves standardizing data collection, integrating program data with awards and finance data, and delivering actionable insights through dashboards and reporting. The position champions reliable systems of record, aims to reduce parallel trackers, and builds foundations for an automated and AI-enhanced data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Evolve, own, and drive the CRRD Data Roadmap, setting priorities and tracking progress.
Engage with CRRD leadership to understand decision-making needs and translate them into data product requirements.
Champion adoption of Integra, OTIS, Salesforce, and PID as primary systems of record.
Explore user experience improvements for program data products.
Identify and implement practical AI and automation opportunities across CRRD’s data workflows.
Participate in cross-functional fora to decide on system improvements and integration priorities.
Manage and evolve CRRD’s program data product portfolio.
Lead the development of the CRRD Data Glossary to standardize department-wide KPIs and data assets.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, and AMU to institutionalize standardized data definitions and integrate program data into the IRC Data Lakehouse.
Serve as CRRD’s primary interlocutor with IT on data platform decisions.
Ensure data protection requirements are embedded in all products and integrations.
Design all systems and standards with country-level implementation in mind.
Develop and implement a support model to build regional and country team capacity.
Ensure all products meet a minimum documentation standard before launch.
Lead and manage the Program Data Systems team, setting clear priorities.
Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and practical experimentation.
Ensure team members are supported, recognized, and growing in their roles.
Partner effectively across departments on shared analytics and metadata.
Build benchmarking relationships with counterparts in peer INGOs and contribute to external convenings.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in data systems, data governance, or analytics roles.
Significant experience managing or coordinating across complex global teams.
Strong technical fluency across the data stack: cloud lakehouse platforms (Databricks preferred), Python and SQL, dbt or equivalent tooling, pipeline orchestration, and BI/visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
Experience developing and executing multi-year data strategies or product roadmaps in environments with evolving requirements and multiple stakeholder groups.
Experience assessing, rationalizing, and rebuilding data products on contemporary infrastructure.
Demonstrated ability to establish data standards, taxonomies, and governance frameworks and translate them into technical specifications and system requirements.
Track record of driving adoption and reducing reliance on manual processes in organizations where data literacy is uneven.
Practical, hands-on experience applying AI and automation to data workflows.
Strategic thinker who can translate data-driven findings into actionable insights.
Ability to juggle competing priorities and make progress against multiple simultaneous demands in a fast-paced, shifting environment.
Fluency in English required.
Ability to travel globally up to 20% of the time.
