About the Role
The Coordinator supports the Connecting to Nuclear Jobs in Ontario program, facilitating the integration of internationally trained engineering and technology professionals into the local labour market. This role involves project coordination, event planning, stakeholder engagement, and data reporting to ensure program success.
Responsibilities
- Support client success and community and employer engagement activities
- Assist with day-to-day project delivery
- Develop and implement program evaluation tools and procedures in compliance with funder guidelines
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate project events including Speed Mentoring, guest speaker sessions, job fairs, and hiring events
- Track and measure results of events and activities
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, community partners, industry employers, and labour unions
- Collect and coordinate sector-specific information and maintain the project resource library
- Coordinate tracking of project deliverables and reporting data
- Prepare and maintain regular reports, project schedules, statistics, meeting minutes, and invoicing
- Support the project team in resolving client issues
- Recommend improvements for administrative efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist with project promotion and community and employer outreach
- Support HR activities including applicant screening, orientation, onboarding, and timesheet verification
- Supervise staff as required and support evening supervisor shift rotations
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
- At least three years of related work experience
- Demonstrated experience in case and file management
- Thorough knowledge of job search, career development, and labour market trends
- Understanding of labour market integration challenges for internationally-trained professionals
- Proficiency in data management
- Proficiency in online platforms and new technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient in MS Office environment
- Ability and willingness to travel between ACCES locations and partner sites across the GTA
