About the Role

Join the Bayshore HealthCare Northern Staffing Program to provide community health care to Indigenous Peoples in remote northern communities. This role offers the opportunity to expand clinical expertise and practice within a unique scope of care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support health promotion initiatives including well-baby, well-mom, and immunization programs.
  • Plan and deliver community education programs and wellness campaigns.
  • Collaborate in a team-based environment to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
  • Apply advanced nursing skills in observation, assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching.
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current nursing license in good standing.
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in the required provinces or territories.
  • Meet required work experience standards.
