About the Role
The Stripe Issuing team enables users to build and launch successful card programs and financial features using powerful programmatic APIs and intuitive UIs. This role offers an opportunity to help build one of Stripe’s fastest growing businesses, spanning fintechs to large enterprises across various verticals and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Lead Stripe Issuing efforts in the UK and Europe.
- Shape the direction and product strategy for card program management.
- Partner with engineering to launch new Stripe Issuing product solutions in UK and European markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, legal, risk, compliance, engineering) to shape product plans and deliver user experiences.
- Own the roadmap and go-to-market strategy for EMEA Stripe Issuing, in partnership with product marketing.
- Act as the voice of the user in product and API designs, gathering direct customer feedback.
- Ensure scalable and performant product development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a product role.
- Domain knowledge in financial products, particularly card issuing, financial systems, and card networks.
- Strong focus on scaling products in close collaboration with go-to-market teams.
- Experience building platform and/or API products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems.
- Ability to empathize with users and craft great experiences.
