About the Role

Weinstein Properties is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for the Austin, TX area. This hands-on role involves managing and coordinating a service team to ensure efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of property grounds and buildings, while also performing maintenance duties. The role is crucial for maximizing rents and maintaining high occupancy levels through professional maintenance practices and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Managing and coordinating activities of a service team
Ensuring efficient upkeep, inventory, and repair of grounds and buildings
Diagnosing problems and making repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances
Scheduling and supervising in-house and/or vendor work
Participating in an emergency on-call rotation
Maximizing rents and maintaining high occupancy levels through professional maintenance practices
Providing excellent customer service to residents

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of trade-related experience
At least 1 year of hands-on apartment maintenance lead, assistant, or supervisory experience
Strong working knowledge of all aspects of building maintenance
EPA/CFC Refrigerant certification required (Type I and II or Universal)
Computer skills for managing work orders, scheduling, ordering supplies, and email communication
Willingness to share on-call duties with other team members
Valid driver's license, transportation, and tools required
Ability to pass a DMV and background/criminal check
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
