About the Role
The Golden State Warriors are seeking a Director to lead and mentor a growing sales team. This role involves high-level sales and closing responsibilities while reporting to the Vice President of Ticket Sales and Services within a dynamic sports and entertainment organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full-time and part-time Group Sales team
- Monitor productivity and assess performance
- Support the team in achieving sales goals
- Maintain sellout streak and maximize revenue
- Develop and lead special event strategy
- Assist with internal ticketing needs across departments
- Identify Group Sales support opportunities for Thrive City events
- Provide Group Sales support for non-Warriors events at Chase Center
- Implement industry best practices from the NBA
- Develop and coordinate training programs for Group Sales staff
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience, preferably in sports and entertainment ticket sales
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
