About the Role
As a Senior Analyst – BCG Vantage, you will work within BCG's Technology and Digital Advantage (TDA) and Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) Practice Areas. You will provide industry and functional expertise, support Tech due diligences, and translate technology assessments into investment-relevant insights. Your role involves developing benchmarks, conducting surveys, assessing competitors, and serving as a thought partner to case teams. You will also contribute to commercialization efforts, develop intellectual property, manage BCG offerings, and independently manage workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Support Tech due diligences and translate technology assessments into clear, investment-relevant insights.
- Quantify risks, required transformation efforts, and post-deal value creation levers for clients.
- Develop benchmarks, conduct surveys, and assess market competitors, products, and tech organizations.
- Serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic leaders.
- Support commercialization efforts by contributing analysis and insights to proposals, client workshops, and marketing materials.
- Contribute to developing intellectual property & assets for the business.
- Manage unique BCG offerings developed by the team for top BCG clients.
- Independently manage your own workstreams.
- Build strong working relationships with Managers and Principals.
- Help case teams navigate BCG’s internal landscape to access the right experts, tools, and resources.
Requirements
- 2+ years of consulting experience required; candidates with consulting experience in Private Equity or IT/Tech background strongly preferred.
- In lieu of consulting experience, 3+ years of hands-on experience in an IT/Tech function (e.g., IT management function, software development, product management, engineering) or in Private Equity is required.
- 4-6+ years of industry experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred).
- Fluency in English.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Solving client problems through formulating relevant research and/or analytical approaches at the intersection of Principal Investors & Private Equity and Tech.
- Communicating with case teams and stakeholders, in a credible and confident way.
- Working collaboratively and effectively in a group dynamic, often virtual, proficient in agile ways of working.
- Being flexible and bringing a curious and creative mindset, open to new things and able to propose innovative ideas.
- Building strong relationships with senior consulting team members, acting as a proactive and trusted thought partner.
