About the Role
Join dnata USA at SFO Airport as a Ground Service Agent and be part of a global team shaping the future of aviation and travel. This role is crucial for keeping flights safe, on time, and efficient, offering opportunities for cross-training and career advancement within a leading air services provider.
Responsibilities
- Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from gates.
- Lift, load, unload, and transport passenger bags and cargo to and from aircraft, carts, dollies, and conveyors.
- Drive and/or operate ground support equipment such as tow tractors, belt loaders, and baggage tugs.
- Maintain safety and security on the ramp by following dnata’s safety procedures.
- Communicate efficiently with ground personnel and flight crews.
- Work collaboratively with other departments.
- Follow all federal, state, airport, and company regulations and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training in related functions.
- Engage in physical activity, including standing, lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling, for extended periods of time.
- Safely handle up to 70 pounds regularly and ascend/descend jetway stairs while carrying baggage.
- Work outdoors in all types of weather and around active aircraft and machinery.
Requirements
- A valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain FAA/Airport-required authorizations.
- Ability to pass SIDA airport clearance and all required training tests.
- Reliability, teamwork, and a desire to take on new challenges.
