About the Role
Clearwater at The Arboretum is seeking a Health Services Director (RN or LPN) to lead a team dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for seniors in a luxury senior living community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate resident assessment programs, ensuring initial assessments and care plans are completed prior to move-in.
- Perform routine and change-of-condition re-assessments to ensure residents receive optimal care and programs.
- Alert relevant parties of any changes in resident health status and the department's ability to meet needs.
- Ensure continuity of resident care by coordinating nursing services with other community departments.
- Act as a resource and care manager for residents and their families.
- Develop and follow a monthly calendar to ensure residents are engaged in meaningful daily activities.
- Recruit, hire, manage, schedule, motivate, evaluate, and supervise department staff.
- Perform administrative duties, including evaluations, forms, reports, and resident record management.
- Coordinate prescription orders with doctors' offices and pharmacy deliveries.
- Oversee the overall safety and health of all residents.
- Assist in community marketing efforts through positive interactions and liaison activities.
- Manage the department within budgetary guidelines, track inventory, and order supplies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns promptly.
- Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
- Represent Clearwater Living principles and core values daily.
- Perform other assigned or required duties.
Requirements
- Minimum five to seven years of experience in senior living, healthcare, or a related industry.
- Completion of required specialized nursing coursework for certification or certification as an RN, LPN, or LVN.
- Minimum two to three years of supervisory experience, including staff training, supervision, and budget management.
- First Aid/CPR/BLS Certification required.
- Background clearances as required by government regulations.
- Must meet health requirements, including TB testing.
