About the Role

We are seeking two motivated university graduates to start a career in claims within the marine insurance sector. As a mutual P&I Club, we insure shipowners and charterers globally. This role involves handling a wide range of claims, providing legal and strategic support, and participating in complex litigation and arbitration worldwide. You will play an integral role in promoting and sustaining relationships between the Club and its Members.

Responsibilities

Handle a wide range of claims for Members.
Provide legal and strategic support.
Participate in and direct complex litigation and arbitration.
Promote and sustain relationships between the Club and its Members.
Rotate through London-based claims teams, gaining exposure to Members across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
Spend time with Underwriting and Loss Prevention departments.
Gain insight into Reinsurance and Finance.
Complete Modules 1 and 2 of the P&IQ qualification.
Engage in learning and development opportunities throughout the 18-month programme.

Requirements

Strong academic record.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Genuine interest in developing a career in insurance and shipping.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a discipline demonstrating the ability to communicate complex ideas concisely (e.g., law, history, English, Classics, modern languages).
Eagerness to learn.
Strong work ethic.
