About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop tools and processes for products manufactured, assembled, and packaged on-site, ensuring efficient production and high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design tools and fixtures
- Manage new tool design through build and production launch
- Document set up and production procedures for tooling and processes
- Provide technical production support
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, fixtures, and processes identified as non-conforming
- Develop product protection plans and packaging
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering discipline or an Associate Engineering Degree with Tool and Fixture design experience
- Proficiency using 3D CAD software
- Working knowledge of metal component fabrication
- Working knowledge of metal finishing operations
- Knowledge of lean assembly techniques
- Hands-on experience with quality measurement techniques for SPC
- Solid mechanical aptitude
- Ability to communicate and work with people at all levels of the office and factory floor

- SOLIDWORKS
- Metal fabrication (slitting, stamping, laser cutting, forming, turning, welding, machining)
- Metal finishing (cleaning, vibratory finishing, electroplating, conversion coating, powder coat)
- Lean assembly
- SPC quality measurement
- Industrial controls (PLCs, relay logic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems)
