About the Role

Colt is expanding its capability to deliver modern, cloud-based security services. This role involves guiding customers through SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, and secure network transformation, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with industry frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical pre-sales for SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, SD-WAN security, and cloud-delivered security
  • Translate customer requirements into secure architectures and produce design artefacts
  • Support RFPs, workshops, and bid activity with expert security input
  • Advise on SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, and cloud firewalling
  • Oversee secure implementation of SSE/SASE and network security solutions
  • Validate configurations and conduct assurance reviews across firewalls, SD-WAN, cloud controls, and identity-based access
  • Provide guidance on hardening, secure configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Apply GRC principles across designs and deployments
  • Review and improve customer security policies and standards
  • Perform risk assessments, threat modelling, and compliance gap analysis
  • Advise on ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR
  • Interpret threat intelligence and guide remediation strategies
  • Support patching, OS hardening, and configuration management
  • Assess vendor advisories and emerging threats
  • Act as a senior advisor to internal teams and customers
  • Communicate complex security concepts to technical and executive audiences
  • Provide updates on risks, posture, and improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with SSE/SASE platforms such as Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access, or Cisco SSE
  • Strong understanding of Zero Trust and identity-centric security
  • Experience with SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, and cloud firewalling
  • Expertise in firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Check Point
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN security, NAC, IDS/IPS, DDoS, segmentation, encryption, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Experience with vulnerability management, secure configuration, and incident response
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe
  • High integrity and strong decision-making capabilities
