About the Role

We are seeking a technician to lead large commercial AV installation projects, leveraging expertise in systems like Crestron, BiAmp, Cisco, and Extron.

Responsibilities

• Support, lead, and mentor team members.
• Install and service cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices including pre-wiring, termination, testing, and reporting.
• Install audio/visual equipment such as conferencing systems, digital signage, and sound reinforcement.
• Interact professionally with customers and prospects.
• Ensure adherence to safety and incident reporting procedures.
• Complete detailed and accurate paperwork.
• Design systems and layouts.
• Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.
• Lead projects at a site level and manage junior technicians.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret AV functional and construction drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in various environments including construction sites and offices.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in the use of relevant tools and equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to start CTS Certification program within three months.
• Willingness to work one on-call shift per month.
