Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and test CNC machines and automation systems at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance and service activities to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Provide on-site technical support and assist customers with technical inquiries.
- Support the development and establishment of service and customer structures within the regional market.
- Document all service activities and coordinate closely with internal and international teams.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a field service role, ideally within the CNC or machine tool industry.
- Strong skills in diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as CNC (and ideally PLC) technologies.
- Solid knowledge of CNC milling; experience with Heidenhain controls is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Independent and structured working style combined with a strong service and customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to operate in a developing market environment.
- High willingness to travel (up to approx. 75%).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Very good English skills.
