About the Role
The Global Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional’s distribution arm, responsible for developing and managing relationships with a diverse global client set. Associates provide relationship management and support to Sales & Client Service teams in business development and retention activities. Successful Associates will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, prospects, and intermediaries to develop and expand relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and construct complex portfolio analysis for current Advisor clients and prospects.
- Identify and discuss key findings of portfolio analyses with clients.
- Deliver educational investment-related webinars to Advisor clients.
- Answer the Financial Advisor hotline, providing solutions to ad hoc investment questions and client service issues.
- Assist in the initial development of investment-related marketing materials and charts.
- Develop a robust understanding of Advisor business practices.
- Develop a deep understanding of capital market research and its application to portfolio management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required with a strong academic record.
- 2-4 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry.
- Solid understanding of Dimensional's investment philosophy.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently.
- Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Strong computer skills (Excel and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed.
- Intention to pursue outside investment-related education (e.g., MBA, CFA, CFP).
- SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses are required and must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire.
