About the Role
This entrepreneurial role involves partnering with operating and finance colleagues to support the growth of high-quality software businesses. The position covers all aspects of finance operations, including revenue recognition, cash management, financial reporting, and systems, while leveraging data to drive shareholder value.
Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process for assigned operating companies.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Supervise and mentor offshore and onsite finance teams.
- Ensure quality assurance over financial deliverables such as balance sheet reconciliations and revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with leadership to prepare budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
- Drive informed decision-making and operational performance improvements.
- Manage the integration of newly acquired operating companies.
- Align policies and migrate systems for new acquisitions.
- Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate documentation.
- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent designation.
- 5+ years of experience in financial management.
- Proven track record in portfolio company management, budgeting, and audits.
- Solid working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Highly motivated and energetic with an interest in entrepreneurship, software, and finance.
