About the Role
This position involves providing occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care in accordance with company standards and professional principles.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff
- Deliver treatment aligned with established plans of care
- Perform ongoing therapy and case management
- Supervise Rehab Technicians as needed
- Uphold professional conduct and comply with state and federal regulations
- Support patients in improving functional abilities and independence
- Contribute to the development and success of the occupational therapy assistant program
- Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills
- Maintain a valid state license
- Apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models
- Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
- Follow infection control and environmental safety protocols
- Maintain effective communication and documentation in English
Requirements
- Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
