About the Role
This role involves teaching First Aid CPR classes, making a life-changing difference in people's lives, and contributing to the expansion of Worksite Safety in North York, Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Conduct First Aid CPR classes at the North York Training Centre and other Northeast GTA locations.
- Teach students through discussions, audio-visual presentations, and hands-on equipment training.
- Travel to different Worksite Training Centres and occasionally to client locations.
- Prepare, administer, and mark tests.
- Conduct qualitative mask-fit testing for workers at client locations.
- Organize, file, and submit student records digitally and in hardcopy.
- Participate in ongoing instructor training.
- Represent Worksite Safety as an Industry Leader.
- Sanitize and disinfect the testing room and equipment.
- Update records, generate certificates, and organize paperwork.
- Participate in team meetings and development workshops.
- Evaluate participants based on provided requirements and guidelines.
- Educate participants on mask wearing, use, and cleaning.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an occupational health and safety role, adult education, or an emergency service-related field.
- Certified as a First Aid Instructor with Red Cross, St. John, or a similar provider.
- Experience delivering First Aid training in a classroom setting.
- Mask Fit Testing experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
- Able to legally work in Canada.

- $54,000 - 62,400/year
