About the Role
ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) and Hümi are seeking a Full-Time Surgical Coordinator for their Garden City office. This role is responsible for scheduling all surgeries for the physicians and reports directly to the Practice Site Administrator.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling all hospital and in-office surgeries
- Communicating with hospitals to fulfill pre-operative requirements
- Contacting patients to explain pre-operative and post-operative requirements
- Administering surgical prep packets to patients
- Pre-certifying all surgical procedures with insurance companies, verifying eligibility, deductibles, and co-pays
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the medical field
- Knowledge of medical insurance
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
