About the Role
Clifton Heights Apartments seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician to maintain the functionality and condition of a 130-unit residential community. This role involves a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC, and landscaping.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, schedule, and inspect work performed by maintenance staff.
- Maintain an organized shop and manage inventory.
- Obtain bids for special projects.
- Collaborate with the property manager to maintain the supply budget.
- Perform general maintenance, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems, and conduct repairs.
- Perform manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
- Handle appliance repair and troubleshooting.
- Conduct general upkeep procedures.
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and strength.
- HVAC Certification.
