About the Role

DC Byte is a leading provider of market data, research, and intelligence for the global data centre sector. We are seeking driven and dynamic individuals to join our Business Development function to expand our client base.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients across various sectors, including data centre operators, hyperscalers, data centre suppliers, consultancies, and investment groups.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial prospecting and outreach to successfully closing deals.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, focusing on ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Effectively present and demonstrate our data centre research products, reports, and subscription services.
• Collaborate closely with our marketing and research teams to ensure sales strategies are aligned with current market trends.
• Consistently meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement and dedicated business development efforts.
• Maintain meticulous records in our CRM systems and provide regular, accurate sales reports and forecasts.

Requirements

• Experienced in selling information services or market intelligence, preferably in the data centre, real estate, or digital infrastructure sector.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of effectively engaging with executives and key decision-makers.
• Motivated to drive results independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Skilled at building pipelines, closing deals, and forecasting results accurately.
• Experience using HubSpot.
