About the Role

Albany ENT & Allergy has an opportunity for a Medical Assistant to join their team and assist physicians with daily tasks, including assisting with minor procedures and patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation and rooming patients.
• Obtain medication prior authorizations.
• Notify patients of normal test results.
• Keep exam rooms clean and stocked.
• Clean and sterilize equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to handle a busy office with interruptions, calls, and walk-ins.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills.

Skills

• Proficient computer skills including ability to master the clinic’s practice management software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population.

Experience Level

• 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Education Level

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completed an accredited formal Medical Assisting program preferred.

Salary/Compensations

• $18.00 to $21.00
