About the Role
As Social Media Manager, you will own the day-to-day social presence of multiple consumer brands, ensuring content is platform-right, audience-relevant, and creatively sharp. You will develop strategies and playbooks, manage communities, analyze performance, and bring fresh thinking to how brands show up in culture. You'll collaborate with creative, strategy, insights, and production teams, as well as media agency partners, to deliver integrated social programs that grow reach, build engagement, and inform broader campaign planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain social playbooks, defining strategy across content, channel, and creative approach for each brand
- Plan, create, and publish timely, platform-optimized content tailored to each brand's voice and audience
- Manage and grow communities across various social platforms, fostering authentic engagement and surfacing consumer insights
- Monitor platforms for customer service opportunities, respond to conversations on behalf of clients, and escalate where needed
- Conduct social listening across key platforms to identify content opportunities, cultural moments, and emerging trends
- Track and analyze performance against KPIs, delivering monthly reporting with clear recommendations
- Collaborate with food influencers, creators, and community members to amplify reach and drive authentic engagement
- Work with media agency partners to traffic content and assets for paid social campaigns
- Develop and maintain content calendars that balance always-on activity with campaign bursts and reactive moments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new social opportunities and support growth objectives
Requirements
- Proven track record managing social media accounts and communities end-to-end, ideally in an agency environment
- Experience working with multicultural audiences, natural or textured haircare brands, food brands, or similar consumer categories is a strong advantage
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills across formats, able to adapt brand voice across platforms
- Platform fluency across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat, with curiosity about emerging platforms
- Experience with social analytics and listening tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, or equivalent
- Ability to manage multiple brands, projects, and timelines simultaneously without compromising quality
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to social media for content ideation, copy drafting, and image generation
- Experience building personal AI workflows that improve efficiency without sacrificing brand judgment
- Agentic approach to content planning and problem-solving: able to break complex briefs into clear, actionable steps
- Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply human creativity and brand sensibility
