About the Role
We are seeking talented and experienced Politics teachers for our A-Levels department. The ideal candidate will inspire hope, ignite imagination, and foster a love of learning in students, motivating and influencing their success while providing mentorship and support.
Responsibilities
- Teach Government and Politics and related subjects to AS/A level classes.
- Plan and execute practical work related to teaching.
- Maintain accurate records, track students effectively, and submit statistical data promptly.
- Contribute to subject teams by developing curriculum materials, liaising with part-time colleagues, and attending team meetings.
- Liaise with other staff and the management team as needed.
- Act as a personal tutor to students and attend course tutor meetings.
- Undertake staff development, including industrial placements, as required.
- Participate in the College Appraisal Scheme.
- Perform other duties commensurate with the grade and scope of the post.
- Utilize new learning technologies appropriately, with training provided.
- Adhere to College policies on Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, No Smoking, and Quality Management.
