About the Role

An established and highly respected commercial HVAC Service provider is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Air Conditioning & Ventilation Engineer to join its growing team covering London and the Home Counties. This is an opportunity to join a stable, family-owned business with over 40 years of industry experience, known for investing in its engineers, delivering high-quality service, and building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Attend a variety of commercial sites carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and ventilation systems.
Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
Conduct reactive maintenance and breakdown response.
Perform fault finding and diagnostics.
Service air conditioning units.
Maintain ventilation systems.
Service Air Handling Units (AHUs), including filter and belt replacement.
Perform refrigerant leak detection, pressure testing, repair and recharge.
Conduct system performance checks and control adjustments.
Complete job reports using a mobile field management system.
Provide professional customer updates on site.
Participate in a shared out-of-hours call rota.

Requirements

Experience maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working with commercial air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
A basic understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS).
Good IT skills for completing digital job reports.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A professional, positive attitude.
A full UK driving licence.
